Attacks On My Peers
(Sung to the tune of "Tracks Of My Tears" by Smokey Robinson & The Miracles)

As sung by Chief Injustice William Rehnquist:

(instrumental intro)

People say the High Court helped his party,
And Bush was a joker, too.
And people called us crooked and foolhardy,
Creeps who helped the coup.

We're labeled crooks, who called the race.
But we just smiled, and crowned Bush with haste.
With all our power, it's easy to face
Attacks on my peers.

So screw you...  screw you!

Since we crowned Bush,
We are seen as Grand Old Party shills.
They blast us for what we've done.
We rendered vote counts moot.
Our will did substitute,
'Cause we helped determine who won.

We're labeled crooks, who called the race.
But we just smiled, and crowned Bush with haste.
With all our power, it's easy to face
Attacks on my peers.

With pride... we're now parading.
Our side... is whom we're aiding.
Don't call us clowns, 'cause we own the crown.
A non-right wing make up,
Or Supreme Court shake-up won't do!

But still...
We're labeled crooks, who called the race.
But we just smiled, and crowned Bush with haste.
With all our power, it's easy to face
Attacks on my peers.
