Satire inspired by Elaine Cassel's essay about Attorney General John Ashcroft's attempt to drum up falling public support for the unpopular PATRIOT Act, which has been condemned as unconstitutional via resolutions by Alaska, Hawaii, Vermont and over 100 U.S. cities

This... law's not right, 'cause it's been voted down;

John... hit the road, in support of the crown,
Went around, gettin' bad, hostile heat.
