Pubbies Screwing Us All
(Sung to the tune of "Too Much Time On My Hands" by Styx)
Guest song parody by Sara Rose, ariel@runesofao.com

(instrumental intro)

Stupid mill layed us off now, used to think it was the hoosegow
But my bills all got paid then.
And I'm giving up hope, it's the cruelest of jokes:
There's no jobs to be had, friend!
Think the jerks in DC are all crazy! They should be the ones who've lost their jobs.

Well there sure isn't a surplus, and forget about tax cuts, it's not gonna happen.
On just unemployment I can't feed my kids and pay all their health bills.
I think Smirk and Greenspan are both criminals.
Think the whole damn crew should be in jail.

And I've got to wonder why the
Rich folks thought it so smart to make Son of Bush our new president
Those fat rich pigs don't give a damn about the poor folks or our predicament
All those rich jerks need to spend time in a mobile home park, living on six bucks an hour!

Right wing's screwing us all, made our economy fall,
Need to get rid of them all!

(instrumental break)

Smirk's dividing the land, money slips from our hands,
How much more can we stand?

(instrumental break)

Oh yeah, last year this time there were more jobs to fill
Then there were people to fill them.
And there was no way to lose, we could pick we could choose
And I could name my own sal'ry.
Even fast food joints had to pay more than minimum
Every place around was desp'rate to hire.

I can't help but wonder how the
Pubbies did this to us, we know they don't care about the working class.
Yeah the Pubbies screwed everyone, now we working people are out on our ass.
Smirk and his friends screwed us all and they've taken my job, taken my life from me.

Smirk is screwing us all, Smirk is screwing us all,
Smirk is screwing us all, Smirk is screwing us all,
Smirk is screwing us all, Smirk is screwing us all,

Smirk is screwing us all, Smirk is screwing us...
