Shrub's Story
(Sung to the tune of "Love Story" by Andy Williams)

(instrumental intro)

Glaring right wing spin:
They tell of "glory" and how "great" the Shrub can be.
They tweaked Shrub's story 'til they sold a fantasy.
They hid the truth about the Shrub; they claim that he
Is truly smart.

Bloodthirsty fellow...
Phrase has new meaning when he claimed, "This world is mine."
The world would see just what the Shrub could do, in time.
With bombs, he's taken life for oil; to him, that's fine.
War fills his heart...

War fills his heart; thinks he's a special king...
Who's never wong; reviled for savaging.
Our nation's role, reversed by Shrub.
To war is where he'll go; going it alone, he.
With Blair around, he'll still be lonely.
Impeach this brigand, along with Blair...

How long can he last?
Shrub robbed our treasure; gains more powers every day.
He has no answers now, and won't hear what we say.
Let's show this cheater that as czar, ain't earned his stay.
He'll yield his chair...
