They don't understand what we're trying to say
They just play on fear, but they are going to pay
Their candidate is Bush, but he's running away
From scandals of his past, when he was a knave
No answers have they found, boy, they're running scared,

Yeah, they are so bad at legislating
They're sitting there in Congress waiting
They can't stand the truth or real education
Their reps and senators don't pass legislation
They're doing their best to divide the nation

They claim it's too late, lost secrets to China
They're just screwing around, using Scandal-O-Rama
They're losing seats and they're too dazed to face
When they get burned in the 2000 race
We read it in the papers that they don't have an ace
And they get peeved over and over and over to no end
